What to Expect When You Arrive 

As you arrive at Hidden Grove Estate, our team will be ready to welcome you and help guide the flow of the day. Venue staff will be on-site to greet you, answer questions, and direct vendors and guests where they need to go. 

Parking is available in the main lot, and once it is full, parking will extend neatly along the grass line as directed by staff to ensure safe, organized access for everyone. 

Guests will then be guided to the ceremony location, which will be either outdoors on the south side of the property or inside the Garden Room, depending on the event plan. Clear direction from staff will make the transition smooth and stress-free. 

To ensure the bride has a peaceful, private space to finish getting ready, we typically lock off the front portion of the house prior to the ceremony. This allows for a secluded, relaxed atmosphere and protects that special time leading up to walking down the aisle. 

If guests need to use the restroom upon arrival, they will be directed to enter through the lower-level doors near the ceremony site. Venue staff will help guide guests to the appropriate entrance. 

From the moment you arrive, our goal is to create a seamless, welcoming experience so you can focus on celebrating. 

House Features: 

Common-Space Bathrooms (3 Convenient Locations) 

For your guests’ comfort, three common-space bathrooms are located on separate half-levels of the estate for easy access: 

  • Foyer Level: At the bottom of the first set of stairs 

  • Upper Half-Level: Up the stairs from the foyer toward the B+B 

  • Lower Half-Level: Down the stairs from the foyer toward the caterer’s kitchen 

Each bathroom is stocked with a curated basket of helpful amenities — including floss, gum, tampons, mouthwash, deodorant, hairspray, band-aids, and other essentials — so guests can quickly refresh or address any unexpected needs during the reception. 

Clear signage throughout the foyer directs guests to these spaces, and our staff is stationed at the top of the stairs to provide guidance at any time. 

Outdoor Gathering Spaces 

Hidden Grove Estate also offers beautiful outdoor areas for guests to relax and mingle during cocktail hour: 

  • Patio Seating Area: A charming patio provides comfortable seating for conversation and relaxation. 

  • Courtyard: Our inviting courtyard serves as a picturesque setting for cocktail hour, allowing guests to enjoy the ambiance of the estate grounds. ○ The courtyard is the most accessible entrance for guests with mobility issues with ADA threshold as there are no stairs.

Two Distinct Spaces at Hidden Grove Estate 

Hidden Grove Estate is thoughtfully divided into two unique areas: the Reception Area and the Front of the House. 

The Reception Area is where the celebration comes to life — dining, dancing, cocktails, and all festivities are designed to take place here. This space is fully equipped to host events comfortably and joyfully. 

The Front of the House is the “house” portion the estate with a living room and dining room. Guests are warmly welcome to step inside, admire its character, and learn about the home’s rich history. We simply ask that all partying remain in the Reception Area. To help maintain the charm, cleanliness, and integrity of this special space, no food or drinks are permitted in the Front of the House. 

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us protect the beauty and legacy of Hidden Grove Estate while enjoying a wonderful celebration. 

Smoking Policy: 

We have only one designated space on the property for smoking or vaping and that is under the large walnut tree at the ceremony space. There is a retaining wall for sitting and an ash can on the other side of the tree. 

To ensure a comfortable, safe, and respectful environment for all guests, the use of marijuana is strictly and absolutely prohibited in all areas of Hidden Grove Estate, including indoor spaces, outdoor areas, parking areas, and surrounding grounds. 

We kindly ask all guests to honor this policy without exception. Your cooperation helps us maintain the integrity of the property and ensures an enjoyable experience for everyone in attendance.

Alcohol: 

For the safety of our guests and in accordance with licensing regulations, all alcoholic beverages must be served directly from behind the bar by our trained staff. Alcohol cannot be self-served or distributed from tables, coolers, or other areas of the venue once bartenders arrive. This policy helps us ensure responsible service, verify age requirements, and maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Good Behavior Clause: 

Our Good Behavior Clause is in place with one clear purpose: to ensure that every event at Hidden Grove Estate is safe, enjoyable, and respectful for everyone involved. It says as follows: “Guest agrees that if they, their vendors, or invited guests become unruly, aggressive, demeaning, insulting toward our staff, and/or threaten their safety, that HGE reserves the right to remove them from the property immediately and without warning and any fees associated with doing so will come out of the damage deposit (ie: police have to be called.) Guest agrees not to interfere with such removal and agrees that the removal of persons shall not, in any manner, affect Guest’s obligations and responsibilities under this contract.” 

We are honored to host meaningful celebrations, and that requires a shared commitment to courtesy and professionalism. This clause exists to protect guests, vendors, and our staff from situations involving unruly, aggressive, threatening, or demeaning behavior. In the rare event that such conduct occurs, it allows Hidden Grove Estate to act swiftly to maintain safety and order. 

By including this policy in our contract, we are setting clear expectations so that all parties can focus on what truly matters — celebrating, connecting, and creating wonderful memories in a secure and welcoming environment.
